at the last conference I was, we have discussed the multifunctionality of these posters:
supermancape
bed sheets
you can change it into a cushion
demonstrate in front of a funding agency to get more money
super handy these posters!

one could also fold giant paper planes out of them. Use an laundry iron, set on silk, for making the folds in plastified posters!

no jasja, it's a cotton/nylon poster so you cannot make oaper planes with this one
